Telstra Pre-Decimal Banknote Phonecards

The following is a presentation given by a member of the Numismatic Society of South Australia at the meeting held on Thursday November 17, 2016.

In 1991 and 1992 Telecom Finance produced calendars with enlarged images of 26 Australian pre-decimal banknotes in the Vort-Ronald Collection as gifts for their corporate customers.  Using some of the images again around May 1997 Telstra produced 1,000 limited presentation packs with sets of 5 phone-cards to be used as corporate gifts, which were not available for sale to the general public.  Notes featured in the phone cards were;
